The Audacious 2022 - Domaine Haut Ventenac 75cl

L'Audacieux is a remarkable cuvée, crafted from the estate's old vines. Aged for 20 months in new 500-liter barrels, this wine is distinguished by its concentration and nobility. It displays vibrant fruit ripeness, combined with delicate aging notes. Its depth and supple structure give it excellent aging potential.

Upon tasting, the aromatic nose reveals a fine intensity, with aromas of blackcurrant, blond tobacco, and hints of wild strawberry. On the palate, we discover flavors of blackberry, raspberry, and violet, complemented by notes of nutmeg.

The blend is composed of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, sourced from the estate's oldest plots, which are approximately 60 years old. This wine embodies timeless elegance and potential for improvement over time.
