The 2022 Vougeot 1er Cru "Les Petits Vougeots" from Domaine Roux Père & Fils expresses all the finesse and depth of the great terroirs of the Côte de Nuits. Made from Pinot Noir, this wine combines elegance, richness, and freshness, with the beautiful precision typical of great Burgundian crus.

The color is a deep ruby red with garnet highlights. The nose reveals aromas of black cherry, raspberry, and small red fruits, accompanied by floral, spicy, and slightly woody notes. With aeration, nuances of undergrowth, licorice, and ripe fruit add further complexity.

On the palate, the attack is ample and precise, carried by generous fruit and a beautiful freshness. The tannins are fine and silky, providing an elegant structure to the whole. The finish is long and persistent, marked by notes of black fruits, spices, and a subtle minerality.
